Boil water notice lifted for Poinciana Village 7 area

Equipment failure prompted alert, Toho Water Authority says

The Toho Water Authority issues a boil water notice for customers located in the Village 7 area of Poinciana.

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – A boil water notice issued earlier this week for customers in the Village 7 area of Poinciana has been lifted, the Toho Water Authority announced Wednesday.

Officials said the alert was prompted because of equipment failure at the area’s water treatment facility.

Customers are no longer advised to boil their water prior to consumption.
