APOPKA, Fla. – A 17-year-old boy has died after a shooting in Orange County Friday night, Orange County deputies said.
Deputies responded to a possible shooting on Warren Sapp Drive around 9:50 p.m.
Upon their arrival, deputies said they found the boy lying in the road with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Orange County Fire Rescue crews, according to the incident report.

Orange County Sheriff's Office investigators responded to the scene to conduct a follow-up investigation, but said the facts and circumstances leading up to the shooting are still unclear.
Deputies described the suspect as a black male who may have fled the area. No other details were available.
