ORLANDO, Fla. – An Orange County Circuit judge denied bail for two women accused of being involved in the killing a toddler.
Xavier Mokarzel-Satchel, 3, died of blunt force trauma Friday evening after he was taken to Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital when he was found unconscious inside an apartment on Silver Star Road, the Orange County Sheriff's Office said.

Two of the mother's friends, Callene Barton and Lakesha Lewis, are also charged in the child's death.
Lewis is charged with aggravated child abuse and first-degree murder. During her first appearance Saturday, a judge denied Lewis bail on the charge of first-degree murder.
Barton was initially taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center for observation. She is charged with first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse and tampering with a witness. During her appearance Sunday, a judge also denied her bail for the first-degree murder charge.
Mokarzel was given $2,500 bail.
Deputies said Lewis' 4-year-old son, who also lived in the apartment, is now in the custody of the Department of Children and Families.
The boy was found unconscious in the apartment at Eagle Landing at 12:13 p.m. and died at 5:30 p.m. Friday, deputies said.
