ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando Police Department is looking for two people who burglarized a home that belongs to the daughter of Orange County Property Appraiser Rick Singh.
Singh told News 6 that his daughter called him while he was on his way to work Friday morning and told him what she was watching on her surveillance cameras. Singh said his daughter is out of town and was able to log in to her security system remotely.
"They went through the back door and essentially broke into the home and then she sounded the alarm remotely and they left," Singh said. "It's ultimately scary. If she was home, there are the alternatives. If she was home -- what (if) her pet was home? We are babysitting the pet while she's traveling."
In the video, you can see the suspects looking out the front door and taking items out of the Conway-area home.

Singh said the crooks were able to get away with a firearm from inside the house.
"No one is immune to this type of activity," Singh said. "You know, this can happen to any place, any neighborhood and zip code, any area code. So, it can happen to anyone, absolutely."
