ORLANDO, Fla. – Flames ripped through an Orange County home early Friday near Bay Hill.
No one was injured in the fire, which was reported about 3:15 a.m. at a 5,000-square-foot home on Bay Point Drive, south of Bay Hill.
Fire officials said the entire second story of the house was engulfed in flames when they arrived.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze but continued to monitor hot spots Friday morning.
Neighbors told News 6 that new owners recently purchased the house, which is under renovation.
The back of the house sustained the most damage, fire officials said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
No other details have been released.
