WINDERMERE, Fla. – A tutor and volunteer basketball coach at Gotha Middle School was arrested and fired Friday after two female students said he sent them inappropriate messages through Snapchat, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said Deonte Johnson, 23, used Snapchat to make inappropriate comments about the girls' appearances and would suggest that they meet him in a private area on campus so they could kiss.

One victim told deputies that Johnson sent her three inappropriate pictures during spring break and offered to send her a video as well, but she told him not to, according to the arrest affidavit. The girl took a screen shot of one of the photos and showed it to authorities.
The other victim said Johnson tried to send her a naked photo, but she blocked him on social media before he could, deputies said. Johnson, who went by the name XYOUNGTILLERX on Snapchat, would get upset if the victim didn't wave to him in the hallway, according to the affidavit.
Johnson was arrested around 3:45 p.m. Friday. An Orange County Public Schools spokeswoman said he was terminated from his job as a tutor and volunteer basketball coach that same day.
The spokeswoman said Johnson was hired as an hourly employee on March 8. Before that, he was an assistant volunteer coach with the boys basketball team during the intramural season.
Gotha Middle School Principal Patrice Knowles sent a message to the campus community Friday afternoon.
"A tutor on our campus, who was hired last month, has been arrested. He will not be returning to our school or any other OCPS school," Knowles said. "He has been terminated."
Johnson is charged with showing obscene material to a minor, transmitting harmful material to a minor using an electronic device and lewd or lascivious conduct.
