Plane slams into metal warehouse after landing at Edgewater airport

EDGEWATER, Fla. – A pilot was able to walk away without injury after his plane slammed into a metal warehouse after landing at Massey Ranch Airpark on Friday, according to Edgewater Fire-Rescue.

First responders said the pilot was able to get out of the plane on their own before crews arrived on scene.

A search of the tail number shows that the plane is registered to a company called Aerial Messages Leasing out of Longwood.

Pictures from the scene show one of the wings snapped on the plane.

Firefighters said the crash is now under investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board.
