THE VILLAGES, Fla. – A membership-based, high-amenity indoor pickleball facility is coming to Central Florida.

The Pickleball Club has chosen The Villages for its next location and construction is already underway.

The facility will be located at NE 62nd Terrace near Saddlebrook Executive Golf Course. The 40,000 square-foot facility will be climate-controlled and packed with 16 indoor courts. There will also be two covered outdoor courts and two bocce ball courts. Pickleball fans can also expect a 3,667-square-foot lounge, a pro shop and a café.

Some construction milestones include pouring the north and south interior court slabs and installing utilities at the site.

The Pickleball Club’s location in The Villages is projected to open in fall 2024.

The company has a goal of opening 15 clubs over the next five years. Other locations under development include Orlando. The 33,800-square-foot facility is planned for a site at 1427 N. Semoran Blvd.
