Firefighters respond to Steed Terrace

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – A house fire Friday in Seminole County left two cats dead, according to firefighters.

The Seminole County Fire Department posted photos and video to social media showing the charred home on Steed Terrace. Firefighters said two cats could not be resuscitated and died.

The home was 50% involved in flames in two bedrooms and the attic, according to the post.

One patient refused transport and the American Red Cross of Central Florida has been contacted, the fire department said.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
