ORLANDO, Fla. – An Orlando-bound flight made an emergency landing in Newfoundland on Wednesday.
Lufthansa flight 464 diverted because of smoke inside the plane’s cockpit, according to a tweet from the airline.
The plane touched down in Gander, Newfoundland, safely. Passengers to Orlando were put on another plane
Flight 464 left Frankfurt at 2:13 p.m. and landed in Gander at 4:50 p.m., according to airline tracking website FlightAware.
Due to an occurence of smoke within the cockpit the crew decided to divert th LH 464 to Gander. It touched down safely and 1/2
