ORLANDO, Fla. – A man wanted on suspicion of taking upskirt video at a Target store in Waterford Lakes was arrested late Wednesday night when, according to deputies, he was caught by shoppers doing the same thing at a Walmart in Orlando.
Nicholas Fusaro, 28, was arrested on two felony charges of video voyeurism. He was later released on $2,000 bond from the Orange County Jail, where he ran from news crews.
According to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, people inside the Walmart at 11250 East Colonial Drive recognized Fusaro from TV news reports and confronted him when they say they saw him try to look up a woman's skirt in the cashier's line.
"People were running after him in the store," one witness told Local 6. "We ran out of the store to the vehicle trying to get him to stop and stay where he was at."
He said there were about 75 other people at the front of the store who were screaming and pointing out what the man was doing.
Video from the Walmart incident has not yet been released.
Previously, deputies said the "hands-free video voyeur" was in the Target store on North Alafaya Trail around 6:40 p.m. on October 2 taking illegal video of women.
Surveillance video shows the man tucking part of his cellphone under a large bag of dog food, at the bottom of his shopping cart and closely following a woman wearing a dress, trying to record images under her skirt, according to deputies.
Deputies said the man also attempted to record images under the skirt of at least one other woman.
Fusaro, a former Marine, is currently a student at University of Central Florida, where he is studying mechanical engineering.
Deputies tell Local 6 that Fusaro will likely face more charges.
