One Daytona shops, restaurants opening in time for holiday shopping

Guitar Center, P.F. Chang's opening soon

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – There are more options this year when comes to shopping for folks in Volusia County. This holiday season, it's all about One Daytona.
 
"It's a great time to be in Daytona Beach, with all the development going on," International Speedway Corporation senior director Kelly Dispennette said.
 
"Lesa France Kennedy, our CEO, she wanted to build a community epicenter. She wanted a place where locals can be proud of and to come out and enjoy, but also that our tourists can make a stop on their visit to Daytona Beach," Dispennette said.
 
News 6 took a tour of the 300,000 square feet space Friday that will be filled with shops, restaurants, hotels and apartments. Guitar Center is the latest store to open for the holidays. 
P.F. Chang's Restaurant is set to open on Dec. 4.
 
Victory Circle will be the epicenter of entertainment at One Daytona.
 
"Every week, Thursday through Sunday, year round, we'll have live entertainment that's free and open to the public," One Daytona marketing director Chelsea Phelps.

One Daytona’s recent progress comes one year after the Tanger Outlet mall opened its doors, impressing consumers with designer stores and restaurants.
 
"There's lots that's just creating this renaissance for Daytona Beach and we're thrilled to be a part of it,” Dispennette said.
