ORLANDO, Fla. – A complaint against an Orlando police detective is now under investigation, according to the Police Department.
The criminal allegation against Detective Angel Burgos was brought to OPD attention last week and the department contacted the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to investigation the complaint, according to Orlando police.

Burgos has been employed with OPD since 1999 and is on paid leave.
After the FDLE investigation is complete, an Orlando police investigation will determine if Burgos violated any policies.
