OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – A 16-year-old girl was raped and held against her will Monday until she was able to escape to a nearby home to call 911, according to the Osceola County Sheriff's Office.
James Gordon Hill, 42, of St. Cloud, was arrested Tuesday in connection with the crime. He's charged with five counts of sexual battery on a victim younger than 18 and one count of battery, deputies said.

He's being held without bond at the Osceola County Jail.
"The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the citizens who assisted this victim in contacting law enforcement and the patrol deputies and sex crimes detectives involved in this investigation for their hard work and dedicated service," deputies said in a news release.
