LAKELAND, Fla. – Deputies in Polk County are investigating a triple shooting that left a teenager dead. 

The shooting happened Monday when someone in car opened fire on a Lakeland house.

A 17-year-old inside the home, who had been paralyzed in a previous shooting, was killed, deputies said.

After shots were fired into the home, deputies said other people inside the house returned fire and shot two people.

Investigators believe the shooting was gang-related.
