Rollover crash closes SR 408 in Orlando

2 suffer life-threatening injuries, police say

ORLANDO, Fla. – Two people suffered life-threatening injuries when a SUV rolled over in a single-vehicle crash on State Road 408 in Orlando.

Officials closed S.R. 408 westbound at Mills Avenue for nearly six hours before reopening the roadway around 7:50 a.m. Monday.

Orlando police said two occupants of the SUV were ejected in the crash, which occurred around 2 a.m.  The victims were taken to a hospital; one was listed in critical condition and the other was in stable condition.

No other details about the crash were released.

A second two-car crash occurred immediately after the rollover in the same area, police said.
