BREVARD
Brevard County is offering free sandbags to residents.
"Our inmate work crews and staffing are working around the clock again to fill and load the bags requested," officials said. "To help keep up with the incredible demand, our inmate work crews and crew supervisors will be working throughout the night (Wednesday) to help pre-stage filled bags, however, there may still be delays Thursday."
Location and hours of distribution of free sandbags for Thursday are:
Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Farm at 2955 Pluckebaum Road in Cocoa from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. There is a limit of 10 sandbags per vehicle. The bags will be filled and loaded into the vehicles by supervised inmate work crews.

ORANGE
Sandbags will be distributed Thursday until 3 p.m. for Orange County residents at these locations:
- Apopka – 3258 Clarcona Road
- Bithlo – 18753 Old Cheney Highway
- Goldenrod – 2530 N. Forsyth Rd.
- John Young – 4200 S. John Young Pkwy.
- Taft – 11442 Intermodal Way
- Three Points – 4631 Young Pine Road
- West Orange – 644 Beulah Road
- Zellwood – 3400 Golden Gem Road
For city of Orlando residents, bags will be distributed at:
- City of Orlando Streets and Stormwater Division, 1010 Woods Avenue. 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Thursday.
City officials urge residents to check their street sign for if they are a county or city resident. If you have a fountain logo, you are a City of Orlando resident. If you have an orange logo, you are an Orange County resident.
The City of Winter Park will offer free sandbags, 10 per household, at the Public Works Compound at 1409 Howell Branch Road until 6:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
SEMINOLE
- Near Fire Station 35, 4170 N US Highway 17-92, Sanford. Open 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday through Friday until conditions allow. Bring your own shovel.
Residents can pick up sandbags at the following locations:
- ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, EASTMONTE PARK, open 24/7, Eastmonte Park Overflow Parking Lot, 830 Magnolia Drive, Altamonte. Bring your own shovel
- ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, WESTMONTE PARK, open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Westmonte Park, 624 Bills Lane, Altamonte. Bring your own shovel
- CITY OF CASSELBERRY, 1040 7th Street, Casselberry. Tuesday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Only available for Casselberry residents. Bring your own shovel.
- CITY OF LAKE MARY, 235 Rinehart Road, Lake Mary. Open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bring your own shovel.
- CITY OF LONGWOOD, Public Works Facility, 907 East State Road 434, Longwood. Open Tuesday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. -5:30 p.m. Residents may fill up to 10 bags. Bring your own shovel, photo ID. Only available for Longwood residents.
- CITY OF OVIEDO, 1655 Evans Street, Oviedo. Open Tuesday through Thursday, 7: a.m. to 4 p.m. Residents may fill up to 12 bags. Bring your own shovel, photo ID. Only available for Oviedo residents.
- CITY OF SANFORD, Public Works Facility, 800 W Fulton Street. Open 24/7. Bring your own shovel.
- CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, TBD, no current plans to open sandbag operations.
VOLUSIA
- Volusia County and the City of Holly Hill are out of sand and bags.
- New Smyrna Beach residents can pick up 20 sandbags from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the New Smyrna Beach Maintenance Operations Department at 124 Industrial Park Avenue. Residents must bring their own shovels.
- Ormond Beach is offering free sandbags Wednesday starting at 8 a.m. Each household may receive 10 sandbags, and residents must provide identification. Sandbags can be picked up at the Public Works Department at 501 N. Orchard Street in Ormond Beach.
- Daytona Beach is offering free sandbags at the city's Public Works facility, 950 Bellevue Avenue. There is a limit of 10 bags per vehicle.
- The city of DeLand is making sand and bags available in the parking lot off Hubbard Avenue near Conrad Park from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday. Residents will be limited to 10 bags per person.
- The City of Edgewater Fire Rescue Department has listed Fire Station 57 at 2628 Hibiscus Drive in Edgewater, Veterans Park at 1811 South Riverside Drive in Edgewater, Mango Tree Lake at 901 Mango Tree Drive in Edgewater and Airpark staging area at 1898 Airpark Road in Edgewater for sandbag locations. Residents must bring their own bags and shovel. The sand piles will be available 24 hours a day while supplies last.
- Edgewater has sand and bags at the Airpark staging area, 1898 Airpark Road, Oct. 6, while supplies last. Residents should bring shovels. There is a limit of 15 per household.
- Sandbags will be available at the Waggin' Trail Dog Park, 1201 S Leavitt Ave., until noon today or when bags run out.
- The City of Deltona will suspend sandbag distribution at noon today.
- Filled sandbags are available at the Volusia County Correctional Facility, 1354 Indian Lake Road, Daytona Beach, until the weather deteriorates.
Residents may pick up 10 bags each.
New sandbag locations will be added at Volusia.org/PIN.
FLAGLER
Palm Coast stations are self-serve and residents should bring their own shovels and be prepared to fill the bags.
A self-service sand station and sandbags are available during daylight hours at:
- Palm Coast Public Works Yard at 1 Wellfield Grade off U.S. 1 ,just north of Palm Coast Parkway in Palm Coast.
In addition, empty sandbags (but no sand) are available during regular business hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at:
- Palm Coast Community Center at 305 Palm Coast Pkwy. NE, (corner of Palm Coast Parkway and Club House Drive) in Palm Coast.
- Palm Coast City Hall at 160 Lake Ave. in Palm Coast.
- Palm Coast Utility Department at 2 Utility Drive in Palm Coast.
Empty sandbags can be filled at these two additional self-service sand stations:
- Indian Trails Sports Complex at 5455 Belle Terre Pkwy. in Palm Coast
- Seminole Woods Neighborhood Park at 350 Sesame Blvd. in Palm Coast
Sand and bags will be available for pick up at these locations:
- Bunnell Fire Station 62, 1601 Old Moody Boulevard.
- Flagler Beach Fire Station 1, 320 S. Flagler Avenue, in the front parking lot.
- Fire Station 71, 89 E. County Road 2006, western Flagler County.
- Fire Station 41, 5593 N. Oceanshore Boulevard, in the Hammock.
- Fire Station 92, at the Flagler Executive Airport, 201 Airport Road.

LAKE
Sandbags at unincorporated county locations are limited to 20 sandbags per household per day. The locations are self-serve and residents need to bring their own shovels. Pickup hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and are available at the following locations:
- Station 10: 23023 State Road 40, Astor
- Station 14: 42700 State Road 19, Altoona
- Station 53: 2505 Spring Lake Rd, Fruitland Park
- Station 110: 6234 County Road 561, Clermont
- Station 39: 31431 Walton Heath Ave., Sorrento
- City of Eustis: Eustis Fire Station #22, 100 W. Norton Ave., Eustis. Bags, shovels and sand will be provided. This will be self-service sandbag fill location however, assistance to those requiring it will be provided. 20 bags of sand per household. Pickup hours are 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
- City of Clermont: Clermont Public Works Department at 400 12th St., Clermont from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Bags, sand and shovels are available.
- City of Minneola: Minneola Fire Department, 307 Virginia St., Minneola. Residents should bring their own shovels. Bags and sand are on site.
- City of Groveland: Groveland Fire Station #95, 450 W. Orange St., Groveland. Shovels, bags and sand are available, up to 20 bags per person, from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
- FREE sandbags are available behind the Fire Department next to our Police Department at 408 W. Orange St. (AKA S.R. 50)
OSCEOLA
Sandbags are available at seven locations in Osceola County Tuesday through Thursday from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. Help will be available for residents who need assistance filling sandbags. There is a 25 bag limit per household.
