MIMS, Fla. – Two people were shot and killed Sunday night in a murder-suicide at a gas station in Mims, officials said.
Brevard County sheriff's deputies were called around 8 p.m. to the Raceway at 2455 N. U.S. 1 in Mims for a report of a shooting.
Deputies said Lavell Jackson fatally shot Kristy Brunson before killing himself. The relationship between Jackson and Brunson has not been released.
Witnesses said they heard an argument before shots rang out.
"The incident appears to be isolated and all parties involved have been identified," Brevard County Sheriff's Office Cpl. David Jacobs said.
