NEW YORK – The University of Central Florida's men's basketball team is in the Big Apple preparing for the NIT Final Four.

The Knights defeated Colorado, Illinois State and Illinois to make it to the semifinals. They will take one the TCU Horned Frogs on Tuesday night.
"I'm excited to go back to the Big Apple and have a chance to play for the championship," UCF head coach Johnny Dawkins told Orlando media.

Dawkins is no stranger to NIT championships, he won in 2012 and 2015 during his time at Stanford.
