ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A hazmat crew responded Thursday after a fatal dump truck crash caused about 30 gallons of fuel to spill in Conway, Orange County Fire Rescue officials said.
The crash between a dump truck and a pickup truck was reported at 9:45 a.m. at Goldenrod Road and Port Jefferson Boulevard, officials said.
The pickup truck driver, 30-year-old Miguel Lugo, and passenger Gabriel Williams, 33, were taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center. Lugo died at the hospital. Williams is in critical condition.
The pickup truck was on fire.
