ORLANDO, Fla. – A man was struck by a garbage truck Friday in Orange County, authorities said.
The crash was reported at 10:05 a.m. on Goldenrod Road at Mai Tai Drive.
Orange County Fire Rescue said the man was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
The Florida Highway Patrol said it appears that the man may have intentionally stepped in front of the truck.
An investigation is ongoing.
