Central Florida Weather: Warm, dry forecast with temperatures near 90 this week

After a pleasant weekend, sunshine and low rain chances stick around as temperatures climb well above average

ORLANDO, Fla. – After a beautiful weekend across Central Florida, we’re settling into a warm and dry stretch for the week ahead.

This evening will stay quiet and pleasant, with clear skies and comfortable conditions. Overnight lows fall to around 63 degrees, making for a nice, mild start to Tuesday.

High pressure is building in, keeping rain chances low and allowing temperatures to climb each afternoon. Expect plenty of sunshine through midweek, with highs pushing into the upper 80s and trending even warmer as we head toward the weekend.

In fact, some spots could reach the low 90s by Saturday and Sunday. That’s well above average for this time of year, when typical highs sit closer to 83 degrees.

So far this year, we’ve only seen three 90-degree days at Orlando International Airport. By this time last year, we had already hit 90 five times. While we’re running a bit behind, this upcoming warm stretch could help us catch up quickly. Leesburg could set a new record high Saturday.

With the dry air in place, humidity will stay relatively manageable, but the warmer temperatures will still make it feel more like early summer than mid-spring.

If you’re planning to spend time outdoors, it’s a great stretch for it—just remember to stay hydrated and take breaks during the warmest part of the afternoon.

Looking ahead, the pattern stays quiet with no major rainmakers in sight, meaning this dry stretch may continue into early next week.
