"Rain chances will be a little lower Tuesday at 30 percent," News 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said. "Most of the rain comes after the lunch hour as upper-level energy and low-level humidity help to spark a few storms."
Expect a high of 90 degrees in Orlando. The average high on this date is 89.
High temperatures will be in the upper 80s from Wednesday through Friday.
Rain chances will be at 40 percent for Wednesday and Thursday, but they drop to 20 percent for the end of the week.
"Some areas by the end of the week and the weekend will see temperatures lower than the average," Bridges said.
Tracking the tropics
"We will likely see a weather system known as Invest 97L that is moving closer to the Lesser Antilles become a named storm," Bridges said.
Computer models are still in disagreement as to where the system, which would get the name Matthew, will go after that.
"Some take it closer to Florida. Some keep it south of Florida. Stay tuned," Bridges said.
