Microsoft 365 may have raised their price, but you can still get a lifetime license plus Windows 11 Pro for $55

Microsoft 365 may have raised their price, but you can still get a lifetime license plus Windows 11 Pro for $55 (via Stackcommerce)

Did you notice that Microsoft 365 just raised the price of their subscriptions? It used to be $69.99 for a year, but now it’s $99.99. And you’re never actually done paying it. Instead of owning your productivity, you’re renting it.

Windows 10 has been great, but that’s changing, too. In a few months, Microsoft will pull support for Windows 10. If you want a long-lasting solution, you can replace that Microsoft 365 subscription with a lifetime license and upgrade Windows 10 to Windows 11 Pro. It sounds expensive, but it’s actually only $54.97 (reg. $438) for both. That’s cheaper than a single year of Microsoft 365, even before the sudden price hike.

Here’s how it works

This bundle is a two-parter. First, you get a lifetime license to Microsoft Office Pro 2021. Yes, it’s a little older than the most recent updates on 365, but these apps still work great, and it’s pretty nice paying once and being done with it.

You’ll get Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, Publisher, and Access. You can use these as long as you want, but you can only install them on one computer. Play your cards right, and a freshman in college could still be using the same license when they graduate.

Windows 11 Pro is a solid upgrade, even if you’re coming from Windows 11 Home. It has a comprehensive cybersecurity suite with tools like biometric login, smart app control, and BitLocker device encryption.

Even if you’re not concerned about cybersecurity, there’s a lot of new bells and whistles for everyday functionality. Snap layouts, desktops, and improved voice typing all make Windows 11 Pro so much easier to use than its predecessors. Gamers, you’ll also get to use DirectX 12 Ultimate to get more out of your graphically intense games.

Time for an upgrade.

You only have until February 2 at 11:59 p.m. PT to get a lifetime license for Microsoft Office and Windows 11 Pro on sale for $54.97.
