When the clock strikes midnight after Halloween, a different holiday season kicks into high gear. The start of November instantly begins the countdowns to Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa, with family gatherings, big meals, travel plans, and shopping sprees right around the corner. The two-month stretch can be a stressful one, but it doesn’t have to be! At least, as long as you can block out the noise with some non-holiday movies—and there are some quality ones to catch before they leave Netflix at the end of November.

There are quite a few reasons a movie might leave Netflix; perhaps its rights are no longer available, or its popularity doesn’t justify the cost to license it. Though the motivation may vary, 25 movies are leaving Netflix in November, so it’s time to think twice about your viewing choices.

Let’s be honest, it’s a bit early to string up the lights and start baking sugar cookies. If you’re still in the Halloween spirit and want to keep those pumpkins out on the front porch, Netflix has some spooky streaming options for you. “Evil Dead Rise,” the fifth installment in the supernatural franchise, is hanging around Netflix until Nov. 22. Helmed by Lee Cronin, the 2023 film follows two estranged sisters who engage in a battle after an earthquake wakes up an ancient demon ready to possess any and everything. Before the month ends, you also have time to return to Derry, Maine, and join the now-adult Losers Club on a mission to get rid of Pennywise for good in 2019′s “It Chapter Two.”

Ahead of “Gladiator II” hitting theaters on Nov. 22, there are plenty of action-packed movies to get you in the mood for the historical epic’s triumphant return. The obvious first choice is “Troy,” a similar sword-and-sandals epic from 2004 starring Brad Pitt and Eric Bana that departs Netflix on Nov. 30. If you’re looking for a bigger dose of adrenaline, try a couple of others: “Hunter Killer,” a 2018 B-movie thriller starring everyman action hero Gerard Butler, this time as a submarine captain charged with rescuing the Russian president to avoid World War III; and “Point Break,” the 2015 remake of the 1991 classic about an FBI agent who infiltrates a team of ex-athletes and their high-stakes corporate heists. Both will sign off from Netflix on Nov. 30.

That’s not all, of course. There is also a sports biopic, a star-studded rom-com, an adult animated comedy, and many more making their last calls. But don’t worry, Stacker compiled a list of all the films departing Netflix in November, along with the last day they’ll be available to stream on the platform. There are also supplementary insights from IMDb on each movie’s director, cast, and runtime.

Take a look and start planning your movie nights now—they’re the perfect getaway from the holiday hustle and bustle, and you don’t even have to leave your couch.
