UCF sorority to host father-daughter function at gun range

ORLANDO, Fla. – Forget luncheons, afternoon tea and spring formals. One Florida sorority plans to hit a gun range.

The University of Central Florida chapter of Delta Delta Delta will be hosting a father-daughter spring event that focuses on firearms.

On Sunday, more than 150 participants from the UCF Tri-Delt chapter will visit Gander Mountain Academy in Lake Mary.

Together, father and daughters will spend the afternoon learning about self-defense and the safe handling of guns.

Participants will receive top-level instruction and utilize Gander Mountain Academy's first-of-its-kind virtual firing range and 300-degree simulator technology.
