SANFORD, Fla. – A Sanford homeowner fired shots at two armed intruders who shot up his house during a home invasion, police said.

The incident happened around 7 p.m. Wednesday at a home in the 2500 block of Princeton Avenue.

According to police, the duo entered the home and fired shots before the homeowner grabbed a gun and fired at them.  No one was injured, however.

The duo then fled in a blue Dodge Caliber.

Sanford police said Stephen E. Wamley was identified as one of the intruders.  The other man's identity is not known.
