Konstantinos Kostakis, 33, was taken into custody and charged with written threat to kill or injure.

Sign posted at Embry-Riddle in Daytona Beach.

The threats were directed specifically towards instructor Diane Howard. The note explains snipers would "assassinate" Howard if she didn't resign, according to the arrest report.

The note was discovered April 1 at the College of Aviation building, which has restricted access and by looking at electronic access records, Mitchell Widham, supervisor of investigations for campus safety and security, was able to determine that Kostakis had been denied access multiple times the night before the letter was found, authorities said.

The building was evacuated after police responded. The building was reopened about two hours later.

He was released on $10,000 bond Friday.
