SANFORD, Fla. – The man considered the prime suspect in one of Central Florida's most high-profile missing persons cases will return to court in July in a separate case.
Lawyers on Thursday were expected to go over evidence in the case against James Hataway, who's pushing for a new trial after being found guilty of trying to kill a woman in 2008, but the hearing was continued to July 2.
In February, a judge granted Hataway's motion for a new lawyer.
Hataway is also the prime suspect in the disappearance of Tracy Ocasio, who has not been since since 2009 after giving Hataway a ride.
