Armando Montelongo's name may sound familiar. He is the former host of A&E's "Flip This House" and also starred in CBS's "Undercover Boss."

He's made millions from house flipping and claims he can make you get rich too. On his website it says, "Just, sign up and achieve financial freedom."
That's just what a Volusia County woman, who asked not to be identified, did after seeing an infomercial. We'll call her Lisa.
"He seemed like he wanted to help people. His presentation was of urgency, like now is the time," Lisa said. "Which I kind of believed because there are so many foreclosures."
So Lisa paid $1,500 for a three-day educational seminar where she was supposed to learn the secrets of house flipping.
"I didn't get anything out of it," Lisa said.
Instead, Lisa says instructors were more interested in how much people attending made.
"They'd say by show of hands how many people own their own home or business owner or have retirement just to get a feel of the wealth in attendance," she said.
"Did you feel uncomfortable?" Local 6 asked.
Lisa said, "Yeah I did definitely."
By the end of Day 1, Lisa said, "I thought it was a total scam I think it's almost criminal."
And so do many others. The Federal Trade Commission says it has received 147 complaints from across the country since 2009.
In 2011, the Texas Attorney General's Office looked into the company's business practices. The company didn't have to admit to any wrongdoing, but they do have to make sure to follow the state's laws.
In 2013, a Forbes headline described Montelongo as a huckster - also defined as a dishonest salesman.
Just by Googling Montelongo's name, Local 6 found consumer websites like Rip-off Report and Pissed Consumer filled with complaints from unhappy people who paid for these seminars, all saying the same thing.
The Better Business Bureau did issue an alert, even though the company has a B+ rating.
So Local 6 went to an educational seminar in Lake Mary to get some answers…
"We're hearing from people that have taken this seminar that it's a scam, is it a scam?" Local 6 asked.
The instructor said, "There is no scam and you know that."
"What about the people who have spent thousands of dollars for this program and haven't seen anything? You have people that have spent thousands of dollars to learn how to flip houses and have nothing to show for it," Local 6 asked.
Local 6 continued to ask questions, such as "Are you just selling seminars? Are you just selling seminars to people and not having anything in return and just collecting their money?"
The instructor refused to answer the questions but did wink and take a picture of the Local 6 crew. Local 6 also asked to speak to Montelongo, but he was not there-- only as a life size photo.
