Orlando police responded to the shooting around 5 a.m. and found Williams on the ground.  He died a short time later, according to investigators.

Witnesses told Local 6 Williams was staying with relatives at the time of the shooting.

Williams' grandmother made an emotional plea, asking anyone with information to come forward.

"Adam said, 'I am going to be the one to bring this family back together,'" said his grandmother, Pastor Daisy Fisher. "We didn't understand what Adam was saying, but Adam knew. We all have a purpose and a plan for our life."

She stood in front of the media with Williams' sister Ashley Dolle and his mother Minnie Williams, who broke down crying several times during the news conference.

"They killed the house that he lived in, but his spirit and his soul went back to the God that gave it to him," Fisher said.

The incident happened two days after a man and a woman were found dead inside their apartment just across the pond. A 2-year-old child was found covered in blood.

It's not known if the two incidents are related.

If you have any information about these incidents, call the Orlando police.?
