KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. – Two new astronauts will be inducted Monday into the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame.
The names of the veteran astronauts who will be inducted this year will be announced at the Kennedy Space Center.
Currently, there are nearly 100 astronauts inducted into the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame.
Among those memorialized in the exhibit include Sally Ride, the first American woman in space; Neil Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon; and Alan Shepard, the first American in space.
The U.S. Hall of Fame is currently in the process of being moved to the Kennedy Space Center's new Heroes and Legends attraction.
