ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Crews worked to extricate a worker from a muddy hole Friday evening, Orange County Fire Rescue personnel said.
The incident happened at the Orange County Public Utilities water treatment plant at 4760 Sand Lake Road.
Fire Rescue officials said the worker was walking along a pipe 15 feet down in a muddy trench when he stepped off and got stuck in the mud. The more he moved, the more stuck he got.

OCFR was in the trench trying to extricate him from the hole. Officials said upon rescue, he was stable. He was taken via Air Care to Orlando Regional Medical Center.
