FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas – Authorities in Texas' Fort Bend County were warning residents that Harvey was displacing alligators Saturday.
After the storm made landfall in the Texas' Gulf Coast as a Category 4, the rain caused some flooding and rain. Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office deputies spotted several alligators roaming around in residential neighborhoods.

"Expect them to be displaced. Simply looking for higher ground," FBCSO tweeted. "Leave alone until water recedes."
Harvey made landfall Friday night as a Category 4 hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 130 mph. Meteorologists have gradually degraded the storm. As of 6 a.m. Saturday, Harvey was a Category 1 storm with maximum sustained winds of 90 mph.
Authorities had to yet to assess the overnight damage of the fiercest hurricane to hit the U.S. in more than a decade.
The photos showed an alligator in a drive way, at the entrance of a home and under a car.
