VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – A 40-year-old Orange City man was killed Tuesday night when his vehicle crashed and caught fire on Interstate 4 in Volusia County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Troopers said Alex Diana died in the crash, which happened in the eastbound lanes of I-4 at mile marker 115.

The FHP said Diana was driving a 2002 Isuzi Axiom when he lost control of the vehicle for an unknown reason. The vehicle left the road, struck a piece of construction equipment in the grassy shoulder and caught fire, troopers said.
Diana, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other details were immediately released.
