Worker injured by 60-foot pipe in Orlando construction accident

ORLANDO, Fla. – A worker was hit by a 60-foot, 7,000-pound pipe during a construction accident in Orlando Friday, fire department officials said.

The incident happened at a construction site on North Hughey Avenue and West Robinson Street.

The person was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center to be treated for a leg injury.
