DENTON, Tx. – A Texas family early this week celebrated the addition of twin girls who practically have their sibling rivalry cut out for them after being born in different years.
How? One of Cliff and Kali Jo Scott’s twin daughters was born in the final minutes of 2022, and the other in the first minutes of 2023.

Baby Annie Jo was the first, born at 11:55 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, while Effie Rose arrived at 12:01 a.m., according to CBS Austin.
The girls are fraternal twins, meaning they share about 50% of their DNA as opposed to 100%.
