Widower, billiards player among Fiamma Orlando shooting victims

Five shooting victims killed by ex-coworker, sheriff says

ORLANDO, Fla. – A man raising his teenage children alone was among five people killed Monday when a gunman opened fire on his former coworkers at a business in Orlando.

The five victims have been identified as Robert Snyder, 69, Brenda Montanez-Crespo, 44, Kevin Clark, 53, Jeffrey Roberts, 57, and Kevin Lawson, 46.

As News 6 learns more about the victims new information will be posted below.

Kevin Clark: widower, single father

Clark was a widower raising a 18-year-old son and a 14-year-old daughter as a single parent after his wife died six years ago. Now the children have lost both of their parents.

Kevin Clark, 53, was shot and killed in a workplace shooting on June 5, 2017.

Kevin Clark's brother, Chris Clark, told News 6 that Monday was the worst day of his life.

"He was a lovely beautiful man and he literally did not have an enemy in the world," Chris Clark said. "Nobody who met Kevin didn't like him "

He found out about the shooting when his nephew called and said that Kevin Clark had been taken to a hospital after he was shot at work. Clark died at the hospital, Sheriff Jerry Demings said.

Kevin Clark started in January as the logistics manager of sales at Fiamma Inc., an RV awning company.

Clark was a big supporter of his kids and could often be seen snapping pictures from the sidelines during a Lake Howell Pop Warner game, a friend who set up a GoFundMe page for the father of two said.

The family also set up a donation page for Clark's funeral expenses and his children.

Kevin Lawson: father, grandfather

Kevin Lawson, 46, was killed in the shooting at Fiamma Inc.

Lawson was a married father of four daughters and had two granddaughters.

He worked in shipping and receiving at Fiamma Inc., starting in 2014, and lived in Longwood, according to his Facebook page.

His wife, Janet Lawson, said he would give a person in need the shirt off his back.

Janet Lawson said Tuesday on a fundraising website that her husband was the love of her life, and the best husband and father imaginable.

She said her husband would always drop everything to help someone in need.

Lawson attended Rossville High School in Georgia and was a native of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

A GoFundMe campaign has been set up here.

Robert Snyder: sharp billiards player

Robert Snyder, 69, was killed in a workplace shooting at Fiamma in Orange County on June 5, 2017. Friends described him as a prolific pool player.

Bob Snyder regularly played pool at Turtle Bay Bar in Orlando. His friends gathered Monday night to remember the skilled billiard player.

The bar owner told News 6 Snyder played pool there every Thursday in a pool league for 25 years.

Snyder's Orlando neighbor Tiffany Almany told News 6 that he was one year away from retiring as a manager from Fiamma Inc.

The 69-year-old was always going into work early and coming home late, Almany said.

Snyder's friends said he was a husband, father and grandfather.

And it was Snyder who personally fired John Robert Nuemann Jr. in April, said Lillian Crouch, who has been on a billiards team with Snyder for about three years. Read more.
