HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Deputies in Florida are attempting to locate Detroit Lions defensive back Cameron Sutton, wanted with regard to a warrant for domestic violence, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
Sutton, 29, is accused of domestic battery by strangulation, the sheriff’s office said on social media.

Anyone who sees Sutton or has knowledge of his whereabouts was urged to call 813-247-8200, the sheriff’s office’s non-emergency line.

“We became aware of the ongoing legal situation involving Cam Sutton this morning,” the Lions said in a statement. “We will continue to monitor the situation and will not have further comment at this time.”
Sutton signed a three-year, $33 million contract with the Lions in March 2023, appearing in all of Detroit’s regular season and playoff games. Before that, the University of Tennessee product played for the Pittsburgh Steelers from 2017 to 2022.
