KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Newly released crime scene photos reveal what detectives found inside the condominium where 13-year-old Madeline Soto lived with her mother Jennifer and Jennifer’s boyfriend, Stephan Sterns, just before the teen disappeared in February.
Authorities believe Sterns sexually molested the teen, strangled her to death, and dumped her body in a wooded area outside of St. Cloud.
Sterns, who faces the death penalty if convicted of killing Soto, has pleaded not guilty and is awaiting trial.
