Osceola County schools consolidating meal distribution sites

Meal program will now be at 13 school sites

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – Osceola County Public Schools announced Tuesday it’s consolidating its curbside meal program to fewer schools.

The school district says it intends to provide free breakfast and lunch to virtual learning students through the rest of the semester but will be adjusting its curbside meal program next month.

Meal pick-up will be available Tuesdays and Thursdays during school hours.

Elementary schools and Zenith Accelerated Learning Academy serving times are 9-9:30 a.m., middle school serving times are 10-10:30 a.m. and high school serving times are 3:30-4:30 p.m.

District officials say Tuesday meals will be bundled with two breakfasts and two lunches per child. Thursday meals will be bundled with three breakfasts and three lunches per child.

To receive meals, identification for each student or child must be provided. Current student ID card, birth certificate or any state-issued ID or passport are acceptable, OCPS officials said.

Starting Feb. 2, families will be able to pick up meals at the following 13 sites:

Celebration High

Gateway High

Harmony High

Horizon Middle

Kissimmee Middle

Koa Elementary

Liberty High

Neptune Middle

Narcoossee Elementary

St. Cloud High

Ventura Elementary

Westside K-8

Zenith Accelerated Learning Academy
