Is this your ticket? Winning share of $494M Mega Millions lottery jackpot sold in Fort Myers

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Florida lottery officials announced that one of two Mega Millions lottery winning tickets was purchased in the Sunshine State from Oct. 14′s drawing.

The winning Quick Pick ticket, which earned the person a share of the $494 million jackpot, was purchased at a 7-Eleven located at 2980 Colonial Blvd. in Fort Myers.

The lucky winner’s ticket matched all six winning digits: 9-22-26-41-44, plus the Mega Ball 19, the Florida Lottery said.

According to lottery officials, the 7-Eleven where the winning ticket was purchased will receive a $100,000 bonus commission.

Remember we said there were two lucky winners of the Mega Millions lottery? The other jackpot winning ticket was sold in California.

Officials said winners have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize, but to elect the one-time, lump-sum cash payment option worth $123.95 million, the claim must be filed within 60 days of the winning draw date.
