BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – Two people were taken into custody in South Florida after authorities spotted a vehicle possibly connected to a homicide in Orlando, according to sheriff’s officials.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office said deputies pursued the vehicle Monday afternoon in Fort Lauderdale before the driver crashed into an unmarked deputy’s vehicle near Southwest 4th Avenue and Davie Boulevard.

According to News 6 partner WPLG-TV, the vehicle that crashed into the unmarked cruiser was a black Mustang.
The sheriff’s office said the driver, a man, tried to run away but was taken into custody shortly after.
A woman who was a passenger in the car was also taken into custody.
Officials said the man was taken to hospital and no deputies were injured in the crash.
No other information, including what case the vehicle may be tied to, has been released.
