Man shot inside Orlando apartment; woman, infant not struck, police say

ORLANDO, Fla. – A man was injured Tuesday evening after someone shot into his Orlando apartment, according police.

Officers responded to the 2700 block of LB McLeod Road at 7:37 p.m. after reports of a shooting.

Orlando police said someone shot into an apartment at the Catalina Isle complex while the man, a woman and an infant were inside.

The man was shot, though his injuries were non-life-threatening, police said. Officials added that neither the woman nor infant were struck in the shooting.

The shooter left the area afterward, and the victims were taken to hospitals for treatment, police said.

No information has been provided about the shooter’s condition at this time.
