Ocala home left in ruins after fire, pictures show

OCALA, Fla. – An Ocala home was devastated Wednesday afternoon after a fire tore through the building, leaving it in ruins, according to Ocala fire officials.

Fire crews said they responded around 12:04 p.m. to the home, which was located at the 1700 block of Northwest Fourth Street.

In a release, fire officials said crews searched through the building, though there was no one inside. Pictures released by Ocala Fire Rescue show the extent of the damage to the home.
