18-year-old arrested in deadly shooting, robbery of man at hotel on International Drive, police say

ORLANDO, Fla. – An 18-year-old was arrested in the deadly shooting and robbery last month of a 30-year-old man at a hotel on International Drive, according to the Orlando Police Department.

The department said Nicholas Anderson was arrested Friday and is the second suspect taken into custody for the shooting on Dec. 5. Police said Briesha Williams, 19, was arrested on Dec. 13.

According to officials, officers responded to the Floridian Express Hotel on International Drive and found the victim, Kevin King, with a gunshot wound in an outdoor walkway. Investigators said he was also robbed.

King was taken to the hospital, where he later died on Dec. 23.

Police arrested Anderson, who confessed to the shooting during an interview, officers said. The department also said that days after the robbery, Anderson was identified as a suspect in another shooting at the Home Suite Homes Extended Stay Suites at the intersection of East Colonial and Primrose drives.

Anderson faces charges of first-degree murder and robbery with a firearm.
