According to an FHP arrest report, Norris was traveling west on Curtis Boulevard near Cinema Street when he hit the side of a golf cart that was carrying two people. Norris then drove off, later returning and said he thought he “hit an animal,” FHP said.

A witness told troopers he was heading east on Curtis Boulevard when he saw the wreck. The witness said Norris was “hauling a**” before hitting the golf cart, according to the report. He told troopers he followed Norris to his home and confronted him about the crash.
