VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – Volusia County held municipal elections on Tuesday for three positions in Lake Helen, Ponce Inlet and Port Orange.
The positions include Mayor of Lake Helen, Town Council Seat 3 in Ponce Inlet and City Council District 2 in Port Orange.

According to the county’s supervisor of elections, the outcomes of each election were as follows:
- Mayor of Lake Helen
- Vernon J. Burton, 333 votes (60.11%) — WINNER
- Kelly Frasca, 221 votes (39.89%)
- Town Council Seat 3 Ponce Inlet
- Arun Iyampillai, 216 votes (21.91%)
- Skip White, 770 votes (78.09%) — WINNER
- City Council District 2 Port Orange
- Tracy Grubbs, 3,186 votes (51.50%) — WINNER
- Sarah Jones, 3,000 votes (48.50%)
The supervisor of elections’ website lists that of the 50,957 registered voters, 7,794 ballots were counted, resulting in an overall voter turnout of 15.3%.
