‘Since we met in news:’ Reporter proposes to anchor on TV news set

Anchor was recording what she thought was a promotional video

A heartwarming moment between two journalists was caught on camera.

Sometimes, those moments can catch you by surprise, as a Tennessee news anchor recently discovered.

“Now, we have a story of two young journalists who just so happened to find love in the same industry,” Cornelia Nicholson, an anchor at Local 3 News in Tennessee, laughed as she read her script.

Nicholson’s boyfriend, reporter Riley Nagel, then walked out with flowers toward the desk where Nicholson is sitting.
