DELTONA, Fla. – Deltona firefighters responded to a burning building at a church complex early Friday.
The fire — called in by a passerby around 3:50 a.m. — occurred in a side building at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church on Maximillian Street, according to Deltona Fire Rescue.
Flames could be seen through the roof of the building, which firefighters said was vacant and only being used for storage.
No firefighters were hurt, according to the department.
